Serve up summer with Luigi Bormioli glassware

If you haven’t gathered already, we’re pretty fond of a tipple or two at ManSpace. We’re also fortunate enough to be able to try a lot of the latest drops coming out of Australia’s craft beer and spirit scene because of the fact.

One thing we realised though was that we don’t ever really think about what we serve our drinks in. My personal glassware collection has largely been made up of housewarming gifts and whatever cheapies I find in some of our well known department stores, and that big Swedish flat pack palace.

So when the opportunity arose to check out a new range from Luigi Bormioli, of course I said yes.

It didn’t take long for the espresso martinis to make their way into the new Bach range.

Luigi Bormioli, one of the most renowned and innovative glassware manufacturers in the world, known for its famed Italian quality glasses, has dropped new additions to its popular barware and glassware Mixology and Bach ranges, plus the addition of a new stylish vintage inspired cocktail range, called Jazz.

Just in time for Australian summer and entertaining season, and to celebrate the newfound cocktail making skills (or lackthereof during lockdown) the new series is sure to impress your guests – with standout cocktail coupes, retro fizz and gin & tonic glasses to suit any type of cocktail recipe.

Designed with classic vintage cocktail appeal, the new series has Luigi Bormioli signature style and durability, patented SON.hyx® crystal technology that is lead-free crystal glass that is eco-friendly and does not contain any heavy metals.

With high resistance to mechanical shocks the company claims the glassware will remain sparkling even after 4,000 industrial dishwasher cycles.

Setting a new standard in breakage resistance, Titanium Reinforced® really sets Luigi Bormioli stemmed glassware apart. The stems are treated with a permanent anti-abrasion treatment applied directly to the glass; which is seriously welcomed in this household as we have a tendency to break a lot of glassware. The high-break resistance technology, eco-friendly glass and distinctive design, make the Luigi Bormioli series the perfect complement for the Australian lifestyle.

Mixology

The Luigi Bormioli Mixology range introduces luxury barware items that has been carefully crafted to optimise drink preparation and presentation.

The range features all you need to entertain at home, with its uniquely stylish and decadently vintage inspired barware. The mixology range includes everything you need to store, make, mix and serve cocktails plus stand out new cocktail glassware including Spanish Gin & Tonic, Schnapps, and Martini plus many more!

Jazz

With a stunning faceted design and timeless appeal, Luigi Bormioli’s Jazz Fine Cocktail Glasses are made for everything from a lavish Manhattan, a delicious daquiri or an old-fashioned champagne cocktail.

You could even serve a delicious dessert in one! Exuding sophisticated and timeless design, the Luigi Bormioli Jazz collection provides a perfect classic match sure to ‘jazz up’ any occasion.

Bach

My personal favourite is The Bach range because of its art-deco feel. Produced with signature fine rims, this collection enhances the overall drinking experience. In time for Summer entertaining, and with an increase in at home cocktail creations, the popular Bach range has expanded to include the Vintage Cocktail, Retro Fizz, Liqueur and Gin Glass.

So whether you are going from pre-dinner cocktails and champagne, to decanting wine to complement each course of a meal, to a sneaky night-cap, the Bach range has you covered.

It’s also fair to say that the cheap glassware of the past in this household has well and truly been replaced and the compliments have already been rolling in about Luigi!
