OZTENT has reached the final round of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021 which awards designing better experiences with smarter products.
An international top-class panel of 91 experts has selected the Oztent Group to take part in the final round of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021 for the design of the OZTENT SV-5 MAX TENT. As a result, the Oztent Group has successfully made the cut in one of the most important design competitions in the world and qualified for the iF Final Jury.
In the second round of judging that will now follow, the design experts decide who is to receive the sought-after iF DESIGN AWARD 2021.
“It would be great to nail an iF Award along with the Australian Design Award,” Oztent Group global product development manager Trent Fitzgibbins says.
“While many in the field seem happy reproducing me-too products, we seek to design better experiences, supported with smart mechanisms and high-quality materials that allow you to truly enjoy your time in the bush.
“The reason the OZTENT SV-5 MAX has been selected as a finalist is because of its patented and innovative solutions others have been unable to solve.”
The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented annually by the world’s oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hannover.
The number of participants in the first round brought a record number of entries: The jurors had to select the best 50% of all entries from around 10,000 submissions from 52 countries for the iF Final Jury.
