Portable power comes in many shapes and sizes, but no matter what application it’s being used for, a generator must be reliable, efficient and uncompromising in its delivery of consistent energy. Honda Australia has just announced a swathe of price cuts and savings across their expansive range, to ensure that farmers, small businesses and those after back-up power around the house will have access to a Honda.
Headlining this group of genies is Honda’s EU30is – which offers better than commercial quality electricity perfect for caravanning and glamping – has seen a price drop of $200 to $3,999
For those on the worksite or farm, or those who need a no-frills industrial-strength generator, a whopping four of Honda’s Industrial Series Generators have had their prices dropped. The EG5500CX & EG5500CXS Electric Start have been reduced by $390 and $500 respectively, and now retail for $2,129 and $2,549. Powered by Honda’s revolutionary GX390 engine and with a large capacity 24 litre fuel tank, these models have a maximum output of 5500 watts and are built to last.
The Honda EG4500CX is also durable and effortlessly reliable, offering up to 4500 watts and protected by a convenient fully welded steel frame ideal for easy transportation and engine protection. As part of Honda’s savings, the price of the EG4500CX has dropped by $450 and now costs just $1,849.
Finally, the EP2200CX weighs just 45kg, and features an easy to use control panel with 15 amp sockets, 8.3 amp battery charger and circuit breaker. With a maximum output of 2200 watts and the all-conquering GX160 engine on board, the EP2200CX has had its price cut by $210 and features a new retail price of $949.
