Top 10 Crazy Japanese Game Shows

0

The Japanese are famous for many things – some of which they’d be extremely proud and for others, well, we’re not quite sure.

They’ve brought us sushi, sashimi, the most innovative technology, sumo wrestling, cars, samurai swords and origami. Then there are the crazy game shows… oh the game shows.

You know that one guy who always takes a prank or joke that one step too far? Well that’s like every single one of these. They’re all incredibly disturbing but we’ve developed a guilty pleasure for watching them over the past few weeks.

We don’t know who comes up with the concepts, how they come up with them or what they’re smoking when they do, but we think they’re brilliant and would love to invite them to a party or two.

Enjoy.

10. Cockroach Game

This one seems to be one of the most talked about at the moment and you can see why… that poor cockroach didn’t stand a chance.

9. Run Komodo Run

Of all the animals they could have chosen… a komodo dragon… really?

8. Marshmallow Madness

We’re not sure what’s funnier – the contestants’ faces or the fact that there’s a team of them doing it… all in an attempt to wrap their gobs around a marshmallow.

7. Wheel of Fortune

This one’s a bit cheeky and pretty clever at the same time so we’ll give them credit for that.

6. Human Tetris

Genius, pure genius!

5. Mummification

In this game contestants are tasked with answering seven questions within one minute to avoid being turned into a human mummy. Because, why not?

4. Straight Scooter

The objective is hilarious enough on its own but they had to take it that one step further by adorning contestants in those ridiculous looking suits. Oh to be the guy in green though. Just imagine the glory!

3. Wake Up Buttacup

Who needs an alarm clock when you’ve got mates like this to wake you up.

2. Man v Alligator

This is dangerous on so many levels…

1. King of the Hill

Ummm, ouch.
