Little Creatures has released a new stout, The Fuggle is Real, which will serve as the brewery’s 2018 winter seasonal release.
The Fuggle is Real is the brewery’s first attempt at stout beer in a can, and will be available for a limited time from both retailers and on tap at selected venues.
“We may love our pale ales, but we love dark beer too and like to think we’re pretty good at putting one together,” Little Creatures head brewer Russ Gosling says.
“A stout is also a step outside of our core range of beers so we’ve dug deep into what makes for a really drinkable beer.
“The cooler winter months give brewers the opportunity to explore richer flavoured beers but still aim to provide the drinker with the same pleasurable Little Creatures drinking experience.”
The beer’s name references the use of English Fuggles hops, a vital ingredient in any good stout, according to Russ.
“The name also links to the long standing battle as to when we would release a Little Creatures’ stout in a can,” Russ adds.
“It’s something that’s been several years in the making now.”
