Preparations are underway for PAX Aus 2026, set to take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 9–11 October, closing out Melbourne International Games Week.

Early Bird badges are on sale online, with prices starting at $185 for a three-day pass and $77 for single-day passes.

Fans can also pre-order exclusive merchandise, including a reversible bucket hat, limited-edition key caps, the Pinflatable Chicken and the official PAX Aus 2026 lanyard.

The event will feature publishers, developers, tabletop creators, hardware innovators, cosplayers and industry talent, offering three days of games, panels and hands-on activations in PAX Land.

“Every year we aim to create an unforgettable experience for every kind of gamer… Even with all of that, it’s really the passion and energy of our community that truly powers the event,” PAX Aus event director Lauren Luciani says.

“We can’t wait to see everyone back at MCEC in October for three full days of reveals, hands-on activations, community and a ridiculous amount of gaming.”

Beyond Blue is also set to return as the official charity partner, providing mental health support to the community.

“Gaming in moderation can promote connection, friendships, enjoyment and a sense of belonging, helping people look after themselves and others. With PAX, we can help keep mental health part of everyday life,” Beyond Blue chief executive Georgie Harman says.
