EcoFlow has launched the DELTA 3 Max Plus (2,048Wh) in Australia, expanding its portable energy portfolio with a 2kWh power station engineered for high-load residential, trade and off-grid applications. The unit delivers 3,000W continuous AC output, 6,000W surge capacity and up to 3900W with X-Boost enabled.
The DELTA 3 Max Plus is Anderson-ready, incorporating a high-current Anderson-style DC output to support direct connection to 4WDs, caravans and auxiliary battery systems without additional adapters. The platform is positioned to service home backup, mobile touring and jobsite power from a single integrated system.
Rated at 3,000W, the unit supports high-demand appliances and tools, including 1500W electric kettles, 2,200W lawn mowers, 1,500W water pumps, 2,000W electric chainsaws, 1,400W circular saws and 1,080W drills. With X-Boost increasing output headroom to 3,900W, the system is designed to operate most standard household and outdoor equipment, including refrigerators, microwaves and campsite cooking appliances.
Base capacity is 2,048Wh, expandable to 10kWh via compatible Smart Extra Batteries. EcoFlow states the configuration can power essential household circuits for up to three days, depending on load profile and usage patterns.
The DELTA 3 Max Plus supports five charging pathways: AC input up to 2,300W, enabling 0–80% recharge in 47 minutes, solar input up to 1,000W, alternator charging up to 1,000W, generator input up to 2,400W and hybrid charging combinations. When paired with the EcoFlow Alternator Charger Plus 1000, the system can add approximately 1kWh in one hour of driving under optimal conditions.
The 3-in-1 Alternator Charger Plus 1000 also operates as a battery maintainer, reverse charging system and 300W solar input solution, with monitoring available through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
The Plus variant introduces Smart Output Priority functionality via the EcoFlow mobile app on iOS and Android. Features include independent circuit control for load prioritisation, configurable discharge thresholds to preserve reserve capacity and automated overload management that sheds non-critical circuits if demand exceeds 3,000W.
The unit utilises EV-grade LFP battery chemistry combined with a Cell-to-Chassis structural design to enhance thermal stability and mechanical durability. EcoFlow specifies a design life of up to ten years. Additional technical specifications include 10ms UPS switchover capability, noise levels of ≤25dB at 600W load, 95% humidity tolerance and 24/7 cloud-based battery management system monitoring of state of charge, state of health and temperature.
Integrated AI Mode enables automated charging during off-peak tariff periods and discharging during peak demand, while Self-Powered Mode allows stored solar energy to be reserved for later consumption.
