Dozens of Australia’s favourite gaming creators, including ZacSpeaksGiant, LounaTuna, TRASH, Galaxy and NorZZa (Will It Co-Op?), will be fundraising this Sunday to raise $50,000 for cancer research
On Sunday February 8, Game On Cancer, an initiative of Australian charity Cure Cancer, will host its annual Game On Cancer Day charity drive — a one-day live streaming marathon bringing together creators, communities and the wider gaming industry to fund life-changing cancer research.
Now entering its next chapter, Game On Cancer Day 2026 builds on the momentum of previous years, harnessing the reach of online creators and the power of gaming culture to connect with new audiences and reimagine what modern fundraising can look like.
This year, Game On Cancer Day will feature dozens of creators including some of Australia’s favourites, such as Teegstah, Podcast Duo Thumb Cramps, TRASH, Can It Co-Op? (featuring Galaxy and NorZZa), Alexandra Lynne and JustEllieWillDo. Each streamer will be joining us live in Lowkii’s production studio based in Sydney, and fundraising via Tiltify.
“Game On Cancer Day is about showing what’s possible when creators and communities come together,” said a spokesperson for Cure Cancer. “Every donation and every shared moment helps fund the next generation of cancer researchers – and that impact extends far beyond a single day.”
Throughout the day, viewers can expect a mix of live gameplay, collaborative challenges, giveaways, special guest appearances and community-driven fundraising moments. Streams will run across multiple platforms (Twitch and TikTok), with creators encouraging audiences to tune in, donate and share in real time.
To thank the community for their generosity, Game On Cancer Day will also feature an extensive prize pool made possible by the support of industry partners, including:
- Xbox Series S Console
- Xbox Controllers
- Xbox Headsets
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (one-month)
- Bethesda DOOM: The Dark Ages Steam Codes
- Bethesda DOOM: The Dark Ages Controller
- Castiglione Passes
- Allied Warhead Headset
- ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Mouse
- Ubisoft Game Codes
- Oodie Originals Code
